Thanks for your commitment, you who have been praying for my Mom. - TopicsExpress

Thanks for your commitment, you who have been praying for my Mom. A few days after Ruben and my return from our honeymoon, she came from Avon Park to stay with us for a bit, first for a colonoscopy, and then for surgery and recovery. The remainder of the malignant polyp which could not be removed during her colonoscopy was surgically removed about a month ago. As we were about to head out the door to go to surgery at 8 am, a couple of you unexpectedly appeared at our door saying God had impressed you to come that morning and anoint Mom. Mom was no longer fearful after you prayed for her that morning, but had a deep peace fill her mind. This Tuesday we met Moms surgeon for her first post-surgical exam. I have great news for you, he announced, handing us three or four MRI and x-ray reports. The testing indicated that there was no visible cancer in any other organ. But the best news is here: the pathologist could find no cancer in the surgical sample of the remainder of the polyp or the large margin of tissue where it was attached. It is a mystery how some of the polyp was malignant and the rest was not malignant. It is no mystery to us: we know Mom has been brushed with the electricity of Gods healing touch. For now, we believe there is still a mission for Mom to accomplish. She, too, finds purpose in prayer, and is impacting her world with her prayers.
