Thanks to EVERYONE that took the time to send me birthday wishes yesterday...it was fantastic to have all that action on FB :) I also got a few texts from folks....a good day indeed!! It reminds me that I am not alone in the world and that I have been given some great things along the path I have led myself through. From Brothers and Sisters that put their lives in my hands and stood beside me when the odds were low, to friends that have touched my life in a way that has made me feel pretty darned lucky. Then there are the children...the young man and women, grown now living lives with families of their own that CHOOSE to call me Dad, its more then just a title....it proves that my life (so far), to me anyway, has had meaning. Not to mention Grand CHILDREN :) So, the reason for this particular post....I have been lucky enough that my ups outweigh my downs, I have seen so many spectacular things in just 53 years...I have given and received so much Joy and Happiness and been rewarded with great treasures of memories and love.......so thanks again to all those who reached out to make my Birthday a fun one for me :)
