Thanks to Tom Nichin Jr for tagging me in his post. Heres a list of 10(ish) favorite/most influential books in no particular order: A Fair Wind for Troy - Doris Gates The Catcher in the Rye - J.D. Salinger To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee The Great Gatsby - F. Scott Fitzgerald The Harry Potter series - J.K. Rowling Bird by Bird - Anne LaMott Welcome to the Monkey House - Kurt Vonnegut Hamlet - William Shakespeare The Lord of the Rings - J.R.R. Tolkien The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - Washington Irving The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes - Arthur Conan Doyle I read a lot of these when I was a child or a teen. Its amazing how a good story can set a young persons imagination on fire. Middle hallway peeps: Mark Conor, Mary Ellen ODonnell, Danny Nicholas, Sarah Rae, and Glen Herman-- youre up!
