Thanks to all of you who have reached out here and in other ways to express kindness and sympathy with regard to my dads passing. Its obvious that he was many things to many people. To me, he was Dad. Im grateful for the many good characteristics that he modeled and passed on to me- an insatiable desire to experience life, an appreciation for beauty and excellence, a hunger for knowledge that drove him to search out deeper answers rather than passively accept the acceptable ones, a hearty laugh, and a generous spirit. He was quick to defend a friend, loyal to a fault, and in the end, he is a warrior at peace. Rest with Jesus, Dad.
