Thanks to everyone involved in the race today .. Everyone rode there hearts out .. Super team effort in tough breezy conditions ... I crashed at 45-50kph in a massive pile up in front of me .. Time I got going again after a wheel change I chased solo for 15k to catch the leaders by 10k to go .. Peter Murphy gave me a good lead out from 1 k to go .. Came off him into the last corner and held on for the win .... The unfortunate part is 1 team lodged a protest against me saying I motor paced for 2k in my chase .., I went behind car for 2 or 3 seconds as the car drove off and I had to pass another rider . NO PACING WHAT SO EVER .. So jury deciding over night about a DQ .. Which absolutely would be so unjust ! ..
