Thanks to everyone that made it to Our Restorative Yoga workshop yesterday. Hope you all slept well and noticed something you can do differently at home to help your sleep patterns. What did we learn… 50% of people are sleep deprived! Not just ER doctors and new parents 50% of us! The average person spends 26 years of their life sleeping, and that number should be higher. Serious loss of sleep-many days/weeks, or sleep dept causes the same inflammatory reaction in your body as high cholesterol. Your whole body, from internal organs to skin and of course brain function needs the healing/rejuvenating hours of sleep. And Lee is a self-proclaimed nap advocate-not too long though.
