Thanks to everyone thats sent me messages about the Armys recent ban on natural hairstyles. Im really glad this story is getting national coverage and hope that means a retraction from the Army is on its way. As long as your hair doesnt obstruct anyones view in the field of duty, keep you from doing your job, or put anyones safety at risk, I cant see why cornrows, braids or locs would be banned. You can fit a helmet over natural hair yall. Just sayin. What do you think? Any service men/women here on Facebook that can chime in with their personal experiences?
