Thanks to everyone who stayed up late last night and early this morning to watch the weather unfold last night. As of now, weve had very sporadic damage, with a possible tornado in Jackson County destroying a unoccupied house. There were trees snapped and uprooted and lots of roads flooded out, however there were no major injuries reported and we can be thankful for that. We can also be thankful that our weather will be much improved over the next several days, as the big upper level low responsible for this nasty weather across the south continues to move out. We will still see a cloudy sky and scattered showers, but no severe weather is expected Thursday and Friday. Temperatures to end the week will range in the middle 70s for highs and middle 50s for lows. Our weather really looks great for the weekend, with more sunshine and no rain chances for Saturday and Sunday. Highs will also warm back up to near average, the low/mid 80s in the afternoon. However the humidity will be slow to return, so expect much more comfortable conditions for the weekend too! Monday looks nice as well with even warmer temps to start the week.
