Thanks to my grandson Noah for letting me use his awesome bike I took 1st place in that even. I didnt tell anyone not even Mary but in my mind this year I decided to do this triathlon in honor and memory of 3 very special and important men in my life who have passed on. My father Forrest, my older brother Thom, and my beloved son Scott. With this as motivation I moved up from 6th place last year for overall time for all 3 events to 2nd place this year. 1st place beat my out by 18 seconds. I wouldnt mention this normally, but in memory of them I felt motivated to do so. I love and miss them all.
