Thanks to our major partners, The State of Israel, Conference on Jewish Material Clains against Germany, The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, the Gladys and Irving Coopersmith Charitable Trust, Keren Hayesod-Sweden, the Harris Family Foundation and other devoted supporters, the construction of 3 news floors on the existing building of Amigours Sheltered Home in Kiryat Ono is almost complete. It took close to 2 years to build, but this is the first building that has been built in many years especially for Israels Holocaust survivors and elderly. There are 71 new residential units thus together with the existing 79 residential units, there will be in total 150 residential units for the benefit of Amigours Holocaust survivors and elderly. We are very excited that within a month, our future residents of Holocaust survivors and elderly will be able to occupy the beautiful, new residential units.In addition, the existing apartments and the facade of the entire building were renovated, bomb shelters were constructed and the structure was reinforced against earthquakes.
