Thanks to our people at the National Sports School: The National Sport School has once again scored great results in its second participation in the 8th International Mental Maths Competiton - SuperT Matik. One of our students, Nicole Sciberras, was the only Maltese student to place among the Top 10 in any of the nine categories. She actually came 8th in category 7 from among 35,360 students. In all, 256,000 students from 61 countries around the world took part in all 9 categories according to age, an increase of 9,000 over last year. Other schools from Malta also took part. Other National Sport School students who made it to the finals were Celeste Grech (1st in category 6 last year), Liam Scicluna and Mattia Veselji. The latter two competed in category 6. Our students, together with students from other local schools, helped Malta place a creditable 7th overall.
