Thanks to the dedication of the physio team at Princess of Wales Hospital I was able to Step out for Stroke last Sunday. To be totally honest Ill never be able to get to my feet and walk as in the video clip I need a splint, Quad stick and a team of Physios so its very unrealistic to think my daily life isnt going to revolve around a wheelchair but you should all know this, If your ever unlucky enough to have a stroke or a life changing accident dont worry as despite everything that is wrong with our country and NHS you still get fantastic no expense spared care from a team of dedicated Doctors, Nurses, Social Workers, Carers, in fact the list is too long to mention. AND DONT FORGET you have an Army of support from former members of the Royal Signals. Ive had so much support even from those I never came across during my service. Thats whats makes us so special because we look after our own. Thank you so much for getting me this far, I just hope I never have to do the same for you, so stay healthy. Kind Regards Tom.
