Thanks to the efforts of the WA State Department of Transportation and the Hazardous Materials Team from Fairchild, I-90 is back open and the Chemical situation at the Port of Entry is contained. We have been cleared to have school business as usual. Residual traffic issues will remain all morning in the Wellesley, Harvard, and Trent areas in Otis Orchards and East Farms, so please be understanding about transportation of students being delayed. Breakfast will be available as usual even with late arriving students. Thank you to our safety teams at each of the schools and departments for their preparations. A special thanks to our transportation department staff for arriving early and staging buses throughout the district to assist in the most timely pick up possible. Another thanks to the Sheriffs Department for dispatching assistance to the area to help get our buses onto Wellesley and through the Harvard Wellesley intersection.
