Thanks to those who attended tonights meeting. A number of updates were given as to events and happenings around this part of the city. Michael Mayer updated attendees on the Horizon Project. The first phase, which includes a large parking garage, retail spaces and residential apartments, is planned for the area across from Joe Riley Park. They are working to gain BAR approval on all aspects of this phase and would like to break ground this spring. The next area to be developed would be near the corner of Lockwood and Spring Street. Next meeting is scheduled for March 17th.
