Thanks to those who have ask about updates on Kayla. I find myself totally exhausted by end of day, and my updates have suffered. Miss Kayla is doing awesome. Even tho this mom has slacked on her job of updating Kaylas progress, it is obvious her FB friends and family remain faithful in praying for Kayla. Kayla is making lots of sounds. We tell her, say Toby, Tiphanee, over and over, and then her sounds change into syllables. It is hard for me to explain, instead of her just saying ughuuuuuuuuuuuuuu, she says ugh ugh. Speech therapist assures us she is listening and this is a great beginning. She now moves her jaw and tongue in a much more normal way. Speech therapist is most encouraging as she speaks about Kayla and how from one session to the next Kayla is showing progress. I am quick to tell her and anyone else that Kayla has many friends and family who pray for her daily, and God in HIS time has and is answering our prayers. Occupational therapy is also going great. The therapist, with NO help, easily rolls Kayla and sits her on the side of her bed in every session. This past Thursday, Kayla, with No assistance sat and held herself up for 30 seconds. You may think this is nothing, let me assure you it is a MIRACLE of God. We now have been on this marathon for 19 months and 7 days. God has a perfect plan for Kayla, and I believe each of you are a major part of this plan. Let me remind you that back in 2012, Dr.s gave us no hope of improvement from the initial state (coma) she was in. I, along with many of you cried out to God, knowing HE is the Greatest Physician, and began thanking Him for HEALING Kayla. God s time is precious, and folks, 30 seconds, and every other baby step /miracle is one closer to Kayla crossing the finish line of her marathon that God chose her to be in. I thank each of you for every prayer. Without God we would see no progress. God gets ALL the praise and glory, and each of you will be blessed for taking part in this marathon. Again I want to also thank those who have and who plan on donating towards the MIRACLE VAN. It is well over half paid for, and God continues sending donations through people we sometimes dont even know. The MIRACLE VAN has been used several times already on Dr. s appts. We will never in a million years be able to thank everyone for there time, generous donations, visits, and most important your prayers. God is answering, and let us all be specific when praying for Kayla, asking God to let her start talking to Tiphanee and Toby, and thank God for every blessing HE bestows on her. Mark 11:22-24!
