Thanksgiving beer time. Anchorage/Jolly Pumpkin Calabaza Boreal. 7% ABV. Saison brewed with Mosaic and Galaxy hops, fermented and aged with saison yeast, brett and JPs Oro de Calabaza straight from the barrel. sour orange comes out first with some lime and barnyard funk and a hint of lemon peel. Theres also some scents of green apple and wet hay. The taste is super funky. Tart lemon zest, orange peel, tons of musty farmhouse funk, grapefruit juice and tangerine. Not what I was expecting but pretty damn good though.
