Thankyou Signal107 (3/5) Im sending love to colleagues who have become friends during my last two and a half years at Signal107. Thankyou, Lee Burton. When I moved to Wolverhampton I had one bed, several boxes of stuff, a job and no friends. Lee Burton became my first friend in this city as we spent several months working on the Breakfast Show together. As we were both wrestling fans with a stupid sense of humour - and both with a desire to be the best at what we do - it was an easy, early bromance. Despite being one job away from being a shut-in, Lee Burton went out of his way to make everybody that walked through the doors at 107 feel welcome straight away. Lee saw me at my very best and at my very lowest and treated both imposters just the same. Hes one of very few human beings on this planet that regardless of whats happening, where I am or what Im doing I will always be happy to see him. Lee Burton left before I did to set up an amazing new life with his good lady Aleksandra! If you accuse me of doing a tiny cry when he walked out of the door I will deny it forever because Im far too manly for that sort of thing. Yep. Sure am. Seriously didnt happen. Not a bit. Lee, Im gutted that youre not here to be a part of my last week in Wolverhampton and my worlds a slightly duller place with you not in it every day...but youre starting an amazing new adventure with a wonderful woman and please know that if you ever need anything I am right here. I said it before, Ill say it again...Lee Burton is one of the greatest human beings I have ever met. Much love! Tom
