Thankyou everyone for the amazing birthday wishes. I am feeling very loved and thought of from all of you near and far. I have a few people to thank. The last 24 hours has been quite long. We have evacuated and returned to our still standing home. Thankyou to Tracy and Damian who opened their house to all 6 of us without question. You are superstars and we cannot thank you enough. To the amazing volunteers at Kyneton Fire Brigade (CFA) and every single other crew that turned out to help with the fires last night, you cannot imagine the absolute gratefulness I have for you and the danger you each put yourselves into to make sure that our homes, livestock and towns are safe. Thank you just doesnt seem enough. To those people who volunteer to help keep the firies going, with food and drinks, and a relief centre for those who werent as lucky as us with nowhere to go...Lakshal Perera your wife is amazing and giving. To my friends and family who checked in with us to make sure we were all okay, I love you to pieces. To my husband, who flew into our driveway at a million miles an hour to make sure we all got out safely. Who held me last night and let me cuddle him despite the heat and the fact that I made you so sweaty. You are my soul mate, the one whos heart beats in time with mine. Thank you for being you. And lastly, to my amazing children! Charlie, Alex and Jaxon you were so brave last night, and your worries were only for the chickens and the cows in the neighbours yards. I love you boys, dont ever change. (Unless its you Jaxon...feel free to toilet train any minute now!) xxoo
