Thanx to Pirates,All they Do is to talk shit. Weekly Soccer wrote: South Africa will have two representatives again in the CAF club competitions from 2015 onwards. The exploits of Orlando Pirates in reaching the final of this year’s CAF Champions league has afforded the country enough points to move back into the top 12 ranked nations for their club football. That means that the league winners and runners-up in the 2013/14 season will compete in the CAF Champions in 2015, with the Nedbank Cup winners and third-placed team in the league entering the CAF Confederation Cup. There has been renewed interest in competing in Africa’s club competitions in recent years, prompted by Orlando Pirates’ chairman Irvin Khoza and his desire to add a second continental title to his club’s trophy cabinet. But it also arguably started with Black Leopards’ run in the 2012 Confederation Cup when the lowly Limpopo side made it through four rounds of tough competition before losing out to Sudan giants Al Merreikh. That reignited South African fans’ passion for the continental titles that had waned in recent years.
