That is really interesting. A couple of observations. People are conditioned from birth to believe that religious people are good; in spite of the evidence that they are the opposite. Second is that the Christians donate a tiny bit of change because they believe that it will pay big dividends in the next life. Atheists give much more, because they actually care, and arent trying to buy salvation.
