I rode with a broken arm in a cast today and Im beginner/intermediate rider. I did just fine which tells me that someone who knows what they are doing would be fine too. If you will come back with the argument that he may catch an edge or a rock is to suggest that accidents happen, and they will happen regardless of how hes riding because well... accidents happen. Live a little people or your kids will be as square as you are and theyll have no one to blame but you.
