That moment when you are driving through the city with the windows open on a beautiful and cool Thursday morning, and as you pull up to a stoplight you feel something on the back of your head, so you remove it only to realize that you are holding an enormous hornet in your hand so you instinctively yelp and throw it towards the passenger seat where it lies stunned for a moment and then you realize that it is now very angry and its coming for you and you only have a few seconds to kill or be killed, so as it buzzes about the car trying to sting you, you pick up a paperback book and start flailing at it like a madman for several intense seconds until you land a stunning blow and the hornet lies on the seat next to you trying to gather its strength for another attack, and so you seize the opportunity to pound it with tremendous and perhaps exaggerated intensity until all is silent, then you look up only to notice that the cars of both sides of you also have their windows open and the people in them are all staring at you so without missing a beat you calm yourself and smile cheerfully and wave at them as though you are acknowledging their applause and then you notice the light has turned green so you speed ahead of them laughing out loud to yourself. Yep. That moment. Great to be alive!
