That person you thought you couldnt live without, you know the one you woke up thinking about and went to sleep with on your mind. The one you absolutely couldnt wait to hear from everyday, who gave you butterflies and made you smile at the thought of them....yeah that one. You know how heartbroken you were when they disappeared/left/stopped calling/texting etc.? Remember how you thought you wouldnt be able to breathe again, how you couldnt sleep at night, how you wanted answers, wanted closure just some sort of explanation as to why? Well imagine how heartbroken God was when all of a sudden you didnt have time for Him anymore. You didnt pray like you used to, seek Him like you used to, study like you used to or acknowledge Him like you used to. Imagine this, maybe He allowed it to end because you had that special someone parked in Gods space. Unknowingly you began to worship and idolize this person, all you could think of was this person, you went through your day dreaming of this person and in essence you were LOST in this person.....hmmmm. Let that sink in. Know that when you are truly submitted to God He will never place anyone or anything in your life that will keep you away from Him. God doesnt have a problem with you being in a relationship/marriage. Yes He wants you in a happy, loving and committed relationship but not at the expense of your soul. He loves you much too much for that. If they cant serve God with you are they really the one? #foodforthought #guardyourheart #Exodus20_1-6
