That was a little painful. And we were JUST talking about The Chesterfield Kings on here the other day. The Empty Hearts were just on Wease, Rochesters Andy Babiuk (from The Chesterfield Kings) brought their drummer, Clem Burke from Blondie, up to talk to Wease, and nobody up there knew who he was or what to say to him. Im pretty sure he was pissed. He sounded pissed. Anyhoo, the band is Babiuk on bass, Burke on drums, Elliot Easton from the Cars on lead guitar and Wally Palmer from the Romantics on 2nd guitar and vocals. Theyre playing a pre-tour warm-up show at Sticky Lips (Henrietta) Tuesday Night at 8:30. Proper tour kicks off Thursday somewhere in NH. They played two tunes, and they sounded just like those guys. Ill get that record.
