That was a super great article in Thursdays newspaper by Mike Drago about the Streak. A big thumbs up to him for all the many details involved. BUT even though it was a great article and he meant well it could possibly cause some confusion among the Bulldog Nations younger fans, casual Bulldog fans, and non Wilson fans in general that dont know the Bulldog history from the roots of John Gurskis first season when THE STREAK originally really started in 1964 and continues with this season 51 years later for (NON LOSING SEASONS) in a row and 2nd longest streak of its type in the state only 2nd to Ridley Highs which I personally feel might have an overall easier schedule than ours as it stands at this particular time anyway. I feel the original streak is THE STREAK. Like God is GOD. Even though this recent streak is fantastic and soaring like a rocket I feel it should be labeled a little different like maybe THE NEW STREAK, DAHMS ERA STREAK, or maybe STREAK TWO LOL. I feel the original streak should not be confused with any other streaks that Wilson starts no matter how great they may be now or in the future. But that is my opinion. Like they always say the original is always going to be the original no matter what. Feel free to comment and voice your opinions on this like they do on Paul Roberts Sports Democracy. GO DOGS.
