That was some downpour. Our bright little yard with its geraniums, palms and vine darkened so much it took on the look of night time. Then it came, large warm drops ever faster so that at its height I was looking at what seemed a solid sheet of water. It overwhelmed the gutters and tumbled down the road out front. It has cheered up out there now, but I suspect the weather to be in a fickle mood, benign one minute, then lashing out with anger the next.
