That was the crappiest coverage of womens beach vb Ive seen yet. #AVPWisco AVP live streamed (online) all coverage of the tourney, except for the finals for men & women. Nevermind the horrible camera work of the live feed for the past 2 days. There were no announcements/banners on the website about the finals not being live-streamed. We had to see a tweet from AVP, when someone asked why the feed wasnt starting back up, to know the finals would be shown on tv instead. So we flip to that channel, and find out that they arent showing vb for another 2 hours, even though the womens final was starting within the next 5 mins. When it finally does come on, they chose to air the mens final first, because it was live playing, and then show the womens afterwards if there was time. The men finished in 2 games, which left plenty of time to air the full womens match in that 2-hour block set aside for vb on their network (again, already over, so they know exactly how long it took). When they finally start showing the womens match, they start us in on the video at 11-17, not 0-0... already over halfway through the 1st game of the set. Did I mention that 2 of the women in this final match were Kerri Walsh & April Ross... gold and silver Olympic medalists?? I cant imagine why people arent following volleyball as much as any other professional sport in America. Its a huge f-ing mystery!
