Thats it. He nails it right on the head. This is the same core message common to all the greatest religious traditions, best philosophy and psychology. YOU CANNOT CHANGE OTHERS. The way to transform the world is to TRANSFORM YOURSELF. Being judgmental as we are in our culture is exactly the opposite of what you must do to change things. Pointing fingers at others, blaming those outside of yourself distracts attention from your own failings and gives short term, joyless ego satisfaction. You must examine yourself, do the internal work necessary and evolve or you will accomplish nothing and only add more strife, suffering and confusion to the world. YOU HAVE THE POWER TO CHANGE. THE CHOICE IS YOURS.
