Thats the way to go, SRI KDU! :) During their schools half term break, 7 students and their teacher advisor, got together to create this Eco Mural to remind everyone about sustainable living through means of this creative mural. Lets all take a moment to enjoy the message their artwork conveys, shall we? The title of their artwork is the FOUR SEASONS UNITED Ms Vivien, who led the creative endeavours of Sri KDUs Eco Mural teams, has this to say about their mural. The theme for this mural is the unification of The Four Seasons; spring, summer, autumn and winter. We have been hearing for several years that global warming is causing climate change. We have dedicated this mural to the natural environment at its best, yet with a flaming earth beneath our beautiful environment to represent global warming. The most devastating effects and also the hardest to predict, are the effects on the world’s eco systems. Many ecosystems are very delicate, and the slightest change can severed several species as well as any other species that depend on them. Most ecosystems are interconnected, so the chain reaction of effects could be immeasurable. The fatal consequences could be something like a forest gradually dying off and turning to grassland or entire coral reefs dying. Many species of plants and animals would adapt or move to deal with the shift in climate, but many would become extinct. This wall is dedicated to our environment and our cry to ask everyone to stand united with us to prevent further damage to our beautiful Earth by going Green.
