Thats too bad. He, along with a handful of others like James Taylor and Paul Simon are one of the few GREAT music acts live that are terrific every time, every year. Great music, great performances and great side musicians with great sound and concert clarity. Ill miss seeing him live in new years to come. He was one other great musicians that Ive followed from his origins from the John Mayall, the Yardbirds, and then the ground breaking rock trio of all time CREAM, Derek and Dominos, etc..... I also worked for Hal Leonard on his greatests hits note for note bass book which allowed me to regain all those recordings on CD as reference discs paid for by the company. Still going strong all those amazing years. And one of the few great rock/blues/pop guitarists whose solos are always a song unto themselves and fits in with any group of players without sounding out of place. Yeah, will miss hearing his live shows. Hope he doesnt succomb to his untold ailments before recording some new gems.
