Thawn spun around Kin, lighting up the air with slashes of blue, twirling swords against each other as they battled for the outcome. Thawn ducked and kicked, only to be caught and pushed back, where Kin stabbed down, only to be caught by Thawn and pushed back. One step forward one step back, no one winning favour. Thawns sword tangled with Kins, causing them both to drop them. They stopped to recover, where Thawn unsheathed his Katana. Kin was passed a Metal sword. They danced in silver flashes, deflecting each pass of the blade with clashes. Thawn thought only of home, Willow-wood and Ember stream, skies of purple, and he never thought he would be here, fighting Kin with blade, he feared not the night. Thawn saw home, as if it was more than a dream now. He ducked, upper-cutting Kin, and trying to stab, but jester-ed aside and lifted by the throat. So long a conflict, so long a foe, but for what? For me to finally defeat you like all others before you? Thawn focused on the mountain, and the faint gleam of Metal, Kin, put me down Hah! So you can kill me? No, Im trying to save you!, On what term should I believe you? he struggled to talk, ...On my honour, Kin gave a slight nod, As you wish. He inhaled deeply and grabbed his throat, getting to his feet and preparing himself. And what do you do now? I die. The beam rifle shattered the near-silence, catching everyones attention, Thawn opened his eyes to be still standing. Kin dropped to the ground, Thawn knelled by him, Heh, you were not so right! No, but I know this sniper has been killing us, and it is not Covenant Not...covenant? You speak in tongues, why would your own kill you? ONI experiment, they destroyed Divine Enigma just to keep us a secret Kin nodded weakly, I shall see you soon then, friend of mine, we are not so different after all. His eyes closed in a sleep, leaving Thawn to wonder what all this fighting had been worth. I struggled finding words at the end there, but I hope you enjoyed the twist ~S-067
