The #1 Cobras traveled to Lincoln, IL for a conference match vs the 6-3 Lincoln College Lynx. PC controlled the tempo in the first two sets, had a minor stumble in the third, and then regained composure in the fourth to take the match 25-8, 25-15, 19-25, 25-15. Credit to Lincoln for playing loose, confident volleyball in set 3 to push the match to a fourth. Lori VanBeek led the offense with 10 kills, and Lizzy Barnard and Elise Dahlke both registered 7 apiece. Morgan Hickman had 20 assists while Madison Weldon had 15 assists and 8 digs. Kaitlyn Hunt led the defense with 14 digs in the contest. The Cobras improve to 19-1 overall and 2-0 in the M-WAC. Lincoln drops to 6-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference. Parkland has six matches this weekend in the always difficult Parkland Invite. PC kicks off with #7 Kirkwood on Friday at 4:15pm who is 13-1 on the season.
