The 100th TDF wrapped up today, started at Versailles and finished - TopicsExpress

The 100th TDF wrapped up today, started at Versailles and finished under the full moon in Paris. Can’t say it is in the book, because one never knows. Chris Froome with the British team SKYE won it. Second place went to the young Columbian climber Nairo Quintana in his first TDF, he also gets the white jersey for the young riders and the polka dot for the King of the Mountain. Andrew Talansky from Florida finished 10th in his first, he is a youngster, too. Marcell Kittel won the final stage, and Mark Cavendish lost his bid for five consecutive final stage wins, though he still holds the record for four and I still love him. Peter Sagan got the green jersey . Jens Voigt was the oldest rider to finish at 41 and this likely was his last TDF. 41 days till football. And now, I think I will go find my own Mont Ventoux to climb.
