The 1889 Singer VS/2 in the foreground is going to a new home tomorrow. A very dear patron has purchased this machine and treadle base for her daughter. She engaged me to bring forward a working machine and treadle cabinet that sews as it did when it came off of the line and all the while keeping the evidence of its life and use intact. Everything else that you see is for sale. A working piece of history for your home? The SewItsOld Sewing Parlor will be closing for good by June 30th. Repair, restoration, cleaning, tuning as well as sourcing machines will continue. I will have machines available on a request basis.
