The 2 minutes silence from the National Festival of Remembrance in the Albert Hall. As The Last Post is sounded by the bugler, and our flags are dipped, the colours resting on the ground to honour those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, let us remember them. As Her Majesty leads the nation tomorrow in laying a wreath at the Cenotaph, and as thousands of church services and parades are held throughout Britain and the Commonwealth, let us remember that freedom comes at a heavy price. Let us pray for those who lead our nation- Her Majesty the Queen, all the members of our Royal Family and our government, and let us commend to Gods protection all who defend our nation in our armed forces. God speed the coming of that day when wars shall cease and peace and harmony will prevail.
