The 2013 International System Dynamics Conference is approaching quickly, and the program has taken shape. We want to remind you that after June 24th, the registration fee will increase. Register now. Note: The hotel room “cut-off date” is also June 24th; please make your room reservation now! We are including a few highlights here. If you want to see what else is happening take a look at the Tentative Schedule, now available online. Practitioners’ Day – Wednesday, July 24th we are featuring the practical work of people in the field. If you have no time for the full conference, but still want to get a feel for what practitioners are up to, this is for you. Workshop Day – Thursday, July 25th will give you practical exposure to the tools and methods of the field, and more. Modeling Assistance Workshop – Have modeling issues you would like some one-on-one help with? Sign up by writing to Rod MacDonald at [email protected]. There are limited openings so get in touch now. K-12 Events include the session “Fearless Use of System Dynamics in Education – How You Can Make a Difference!” A limited number of curriculum packets are available at a discounted price. An OASIS XMILE Standard Informational Meeting will be held on Tuesday during the conference. In preparation for this, there is a webinar scheduled for Monday, June 24th. On Sunday evening there will be a University Hosted Welcome Reception in the Charles View Ballroom, on Monday the Poster Symposium with a standing light buffet and cash bar, on Tuesday the banquet, and on Wednesday a Fireside Chat with Jay Forrester followed by a screening of the new documentary Last Call. Fun Stuff: Spouses’ Lounge – WOW! Linda Morecroft has set up a full schedule and says to wear comfortable shoes!
