The 2013 Phoenix Veterans Day Parade returns to honor our fallen, serving, and reserve veterans. The parade begins at 11:00am on the corner of Central Avenue and Bethany Home Rd. at the North Phoenix Baptist Church, the parade is expected to draw thousands of Phoenix area residents. As more than 100 entrants wind their way down Camelback Rd. and South through Seventh Street, spectators paying their respects to those who have served our country will be delighted by the range of floats, balloons, and patriotism. This year’s line-up includes veterans from the Operation Iraqi Freedom, Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Cold War, WWII, Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Desert Storm.
