The 2014 Winters Plein Air Art Festival is Off and Running! Plein Air means in the open --- painting outdoors The Plein Air Art Festival brings in many people from out of town, who discover Winters, and it is a great opportunity to inspire those who live here to appreciate Winters. We truly hope that the business owners and community leaders will come to the Plein Air Art Opening Saturday Night to show appreciation to the artists and encourage them to paint here year round! Upcoming Plein Air Art Events Downtown Area Friday, May 2nd from 4 - 8pm Downtown and Dusk Paint Outs at Railroad and Main Street Saturday, May 3rd from 5 - 7pm Quick Draw and Timed Competition at Railroad and Main Street Saturday, May 3rd from 7 - 9pm Art Show Opening - Reception - Sale Meet the Artists Reception at 10 Abby Street. ENJOY Wine, Cheese, Punch and GREAT ART! We hope you will all attend the Saturday evening reception. The Winters Plein Air Artwork, which is a creative reflection of Winters, will be shown in Woodland, at: Gallery 625 - in July. And selected pieces will be featured in a Love from Yolo exhibition at: Gallery 2110, in Sacramento, July 10 – August 6.
