The 21st of September the International Day of Peace and this year happens to be on a Sunday. In Ledra Street in Nicosia, 5:00 pm on that day, a large number of young (and not so young) people will start gathering, all wearing white t-shirts. At first they will be just mingling with the rest of the people. Then the music will begin, the very Cypriot sousta, and all those wearing the white t-shirts will start dancing and at the same time forming the symbol of peace. A similar event will be taking place in more than 50 other countries.
