The 60 Second Sermon Monday November 25th 2013 Time For God (By our Brother in Christ Mark C Snyder of Living Witness Ministries! My dear praise family, you know by now that the Do You Have a Minute for God of which I have been asking is an example of amplification through minimization! It is like saying, really you only have 1 minute for God today! So this message is speaking my language loudly and clearly! Thank you to Brother Mark for posting this for us. Whether you go regularly to church, or used to go, or never went at all, you have to think about God and your future sometimes. You never know when you have to reach out for a friend or family member for help or comfort. Don’t forget about God. He never forgets about you! I received part of this in E-Mail from a dear friend and was touched by it and wanted to share it as a devotion. Time For God. Read only if you have time for God God, When I received this e-mail, I thought... I dont have time for this... and, this is really inappropriate during work. Then, I realized that this kind of thinking is.... exactly what has caused a lot of the problems in our world today. We try to keep God in church on Sunday morning.... Maybe, Sunday night... We do like to have Him around during sickness.... And, of course, at funerals. However, we dont have time, or room, for Him during work or play... Because…Thats the part of our lives we think... We can, and should, handle on our own. May God forgive me for ever thinking there is a time or place where HE is not to be FIRST in my life. We should always have time to remember all HE has done for us. If, You arent ashamed to do this... Please follow the directions. Jesus said, If you are ashamed of Me, I will be ashamed of you before My Father. Not ashamed? Pass this on; ONLY IF YOU MEAN IT!! Yes...I DO Love God. HE is my source of existence and Savior. He keeps me functioning each and every day. Without Him, I will be nothing. But, with Christ, HE strengthens me. (Phil 4:13) This is the simplest test. If You Love God... And, are not ashamed of all the marvelous things HE has done for you...RE-POST THIS, pass it on! Send it to as many people as you can! If we as the Family of God won’t take time to stand up and be counted, what is that SAYING about us? We should want to be counted as Proud, lovers of Christ and His Church! If we won’t, why would we expect Him to do so before God? 2 Chronicles 7:14 says, Then if My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves, if they will pray and seek Me and stop their evil ways, I will hear them from heaven. I will forgive their sin, and I will heal their land. (N.C.V.) If we, the Followers of Christ won’t even stand for Him to those who know us and care for us, how can we expect revival in the land? We, our Country, our very lives and freedoms are under attack daily. Our own President won’t even say the words Under God during the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address! Won’t you rally around The Banner of Christ? He endured the cross for you, wont you stand for Him? Brethren, Family of God, I leave you with this: Please consider the Words of our Savior: John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do whatever I command you. 15 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you. 16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. Now thats what’s up!
