The 6th Session of the Uganda/DRC Joint Permanent Commision, 23-27th August was successfully held in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. The Uganda delegation of 8 Ministers and other senior government officials was led by Hon Okello Oryem, Ag. Minister of Foreign Affairs and the DRC delegation was led by Hon Raymond Tshibanda, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophone. The discussions were held under four thematic areas, Political, Diplomatic and legal; Defence and Security; Finance, Economic, Infrastructure; and Socio-cultural matters.
