The 7 Meanings of Jubilee for Us today 1. Atonement – At-one-ment with God. This is a time to reconnect to God and let Him be master. At one ment means of one element and being. 2. Favor and Mercies of the Lord – A tangible manifestation of what others call luck or that X-factor. That little bit that transcends skills, effort and hard work. 3. Trumpet/Shout of Joy/Victory Cry – Declaration and Pronouncements (the Spoken word). Indeed we need to make that prophetic utterance of success and power. Speak life and life manifests. 4. Freedom (Liberty) from bondage/slavery. All manner of bondage be it disease, poverty, bad habits, weaknesses, excuses, ineffectiveness and just about anything that has kept you shackled to it and blocked your progress. 5. Restoration – brought back to its original state – made as new. This means being made new but using the same old material. Indeed as they said to Jesus what good can come out of Nazareth so shall they say what good shall come out of (fill in your background here...) 6. Debt cancellation – all old dues shall be cancelled. This is the year when all spiritual debts are released. Name it and claim it, profess it and possess it. 7. Land ownership – Step in, Occupy and Possess. A slave mentality blames, seeks others to solve their problems and always waits for the master to make executive decisions. A master mentality takes responsibility, accepts challenges, seeks out new horizons and realizes that all opportunities are his to exploit.
