The 70 year old well known Selebi Phikwe businessman, who was shot in the head, by his 14 year old grandson, two weeks ago has died from his injuries. This was confirmed by Officer Commanding, No 10 District, Senior Superintendent Takongwa Mazwiduma. He said the old man passed away on Sunday in Johannesburg, South Africa, where he was flown to after the incident. The incident is said to have occurred in a farm in the Tuli Block, near Tsetsejwe, when the old man and two of his grandchildren were hunting baboons when the gun, the boy was holding accidentally went off. Mazwiduma said they are still treating the matter as an accident adding that the death of the old man will not change the course of their investigations.
