The 98% Home Business Lie. Who in the name of Jimini Cricket ever provided one stat or a shred of evidence that 98% of home businesses fail? Who started that numbskull statement? And almost worse, countless bogus gurus try to sell you get-rich strategies to help you succeed based on the fact that there is a 98% likelihood you will fail without their help. They must be really good, dont you think? Are they helping the 2% succeed faster, or are they helping turn the tide so that, say, only 97% fail? Eleven companies are doing over 1 Billion a year in sales. Avon alone does 10.9 BILLION (with a B). So.... just 2% account for all the sales of a 154 billion dollar industry? I never represented a single home-based company in 30 years that I didnt succeed with; and some I succeeded beyond my wildest dreams. If you are in this industry, dont EVER use that ridiculous statistic in any manner. I cringe when I see: 98% Fail! Join My Company and Success Can Finally be Yours! How completely and utterly STUPID is that? And if you are peddling success secrets and methods based on that ol , worn-out 98% lie -- please turn your brain back on.
