The AAP Delhi Govt. held a meeting with the Auto drivers of the city. Ways to end harassment of auto drivers (ambiguous laws, bribes etc) and commuters (refusal of service etc). The Delhi Govt. has promised to bring clarity around laws, especially around conditions leading to vehicles getting impounded. In return, we have also asked the auto drivers to provide good service to the commuters. The helpline for consumers complaint will be reactivated shortly. On receiving complaints attempts will be made to resolve the situation. If the auto driver refuses to provide legitimate service to the commuter, action will be taken against them. As the govt. owns up to the responsibility of ending legitimate problems faced by auto drivers, they have to responsible for the quality of service provided to the commuters.
