The ANU Science Graduations today was a symbol of the beautiful - TopicsExpress

The ANU Science Graduations today was a symbol of the beautiful finale of three incredible years spent with some the most inspiring people I have met. I say finale because from this point on there are many changes for us all, even most of us seem to have planted ourselves comfortable within the familiarity of ANU for the next few years. Amongst the changes, what stays constant is the strong ties of friendship that formed through the sleepless nights, the last minute crams, the coffee dates and the pep talks that will enable us to stay connected through our independent journeys. I am so incredibly proud of what you have all achieved. Dylan Tully for graduating Medical Science; being accepted into ANU Medicine; for persevering to talk to the awkward, shy girl who lost her usb; for showing me what my motto of Believe really means; for taking me on the wildest adventures; for being my personal trainer and for being a ninja stealing my heart somewhere in the process. Shevaun Ey for graduating Medical Science, for being accepted into ANU Medicine and putting up with my constant dad jokes; grammar questions and sticking by even through hard times Maddie Sowden for being the best damn chemist and being fought over by the professors all wanting to work with you and being one in a minion and never failing to make me smile Aditi Medhavy for moving out of home & surviving the first 2 years of undergrad Med and no matter how big the distance, we never feel too far away Gabriella Leilani Gross for getting into her dream Honours project and always being ready for a playground or a party Jaylil Akiel for muscling through to strive for his dreams of Med and being the best bromance partner for Kakarot ;) The list could go on forever I cannot explain how much the people that have come into my life over the past three years have influenced me and pulled me out of my shell. I have made friends that I will forever consider family; been shown what love can truly be; and found myself calling more and more places home.
