The Abbott government’s wrecking ball politics continue to loom over Australia, threatening to destroy and erode hard fought for social institutions and protections for workers, the unemployed, students, and those in ill health. No one is spared: Trade unions, workplace rights and conditions, pensioners, students, youth, the unemployed and the disabled are all under attack. Right across Australia people will be hitting the streets on August 31 to show the Abbott Government there is no mandate for there agenda, and won’t be allowed to get away with it. The March Australia movement is grassroots, broad and inclusive. We are not aligned with any particular political party or organisation. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.
