The Address airs Tuesday, April 15 at 8 p.m. In this new documentary, Ken Burns tells the story of a tiny school in Putney, Vermont, the Greenwood School, where each year the students are encouraged to memorize, practice and recite the Gettysburg Address. Watch President Barack Obama, Taylor Swift, Nancy Pelosi, Stephen Spielberg and more recite the Gettysburg Address as part of Ken Burns challenge to all Americans to LEARN THE ADDRESS. To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Gettysburg Address, documentarian Ken Burns, along with numerous partners, has launched a national effort to encourage everyone in America to video record themselves reading or reciting the speech.
