The Album...started off a few months ago in a converted church somewhere in Devon where I lay down some tentative piano tracks, and the process begins. i send them to the incredibly talented Gino Vannelli in the States. A couple of them are good enough but mostly he tells me to try harder and do it again. Then Paula flies over to his studio to record the vocals...meanwhile Gino has added rhythm section and orchestrated some of the tracks, And with Ginos incredible musical skills as a producer, with crazily fine taste and musical discernment, something is created which is far beyond anything we could have done by ourselves. Now Gino is sending me the tracks they have been working on, and the results are truly breathtaking. Listening now...cant believe that is us I am hearing, way beyond anything we have ever done before ...Wow!
