The American Cancer Society Announces the Availability of Funds! The Florida Division of the American Cancer Society is pleased to announce the availability of funds from the Community Education Grant Program to Address Cancer Disparities. The Community Education Grant Program funds breast and/or colorectal cancer initiatives targeting African Americans/Blacks or Hispanics/Latinos. Organizations can apply for up to $25,000. Florida Organizations eligible to apply for funding: o Non-profit community-based organizations with a 501(c)3 status o Federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and FQHCs look-alikes o Rural Health Centers/Clinics o Indian Health Service or Urban Indian Health o Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Programs Application Deadline: July 12, 2013 Attached please find the Grant Application Toolkit and Application Form. IMPORTANT: Any interested applicant must participate in a Grant Program Conference Call to be eligible to apply for funding. The conference call will address the requirements of the grant application. To register for the conference call, please email [email protected].
